WW2 German Luftwaffe Panzer Armour Glass Fragments (LARGE) – Fw190 Me109 NICE!!

5 in stock

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a 100% ORIGINAL Panzersheibe (Armour Glass) Section!   These specific relics were recovered from various wrecked Fw190 and Me109 aircraft, however I do not have any loss information.

Normally comprising of 4 layers of glass at a thickness of 50mm (15mm-20mm for each layer), these Armour Glass fragments are in SUPERB relic condition!  The glass was mounted directly in front of the pilot (attached to the windscreen) to protect him from any bullets or flak.  Though in relic condition, they are VERY solid, and still quite clear!  These are larger fragments, measuring approx. 3″ x 5″ to 5″ x 7″ in size.  I have indicated the armoured glass location that these fragments originate from in the last photos.  Would make an EXCELLENT addition to any collection or display!

Please know that you are bidding on ONE fragment of glass, NOT the entire grouping of fragments depicted in the photos.

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
