You are bidding on a FANTASTIC and 100% ORIGINAL example of WW2 German Wehrmacht Splinter Pattern Camouflage Winter Hood!
The Splinter Pattern Reversible Winter Hood was a standard issue item, and were distributed to all Army EM/NCO’s for the winter season. As with all other winter garments they were to be returned to the units storage depot at the end of the season. Made of water-proofed cotton/rayon, this reversible hood is in VERY NICE used condition! It features the standard Splinter pattern camouflage, that consists of shades of tans, greens and browns. It is reversible to white, and also features the tie string. Though stained from combat use, there are no major holes or damage. Dated 1943, it has an RBn. Number, and is marked as a size “57”. A VERY RARE item, it would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
