Description
This instrument was manufactured between 1942 and 19454, and used in all model of the Me109 E thru G, the Fw190 & Ta152, and the Me110! It indicated the current gear position to the pilot, and would light up the corresponding circle (Ein or Aus). Made of aluminum, bakelite, and steel, this instrument is in EXCELLENT condition for it’s age! EASILY one of the hardest instrument to locate for the Me109 and Fw190, it retains 95% of it’s original paint and finish, and the switch is 100% functional! The Fl. number is stamped into the face, clearly indicating, Fl. 32526. The “Ein” and “Aus” labels are also mainly intact (usually these are faded or damaged). This is a RARER earlier model, with a beautiful BAL stamp on the side, along with a production date of 1938. A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project! |
