WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy / Army – SOLDIER / SHIP BATTLE FLAG – VERY NICE!

You are bidding on a SUPERB used example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy / Army Battle Flag as used by various military units, ships, and personnel!  

 Made of a heavy cotton/rayon, this flag is in EXCELLENT used condition! It does feature some staining, wear, holes, and color fading due to the age, but otherwise in complete! The Hinomaru is sewn into the center, as opposed to printed. No dates that I can see. Missing one of the wooden ties in the corner. Due to the construction, I suspect this is from a ship, but not 100% sure. Measuring a very large 36″ x 60″ in size, it would make for a FANTASTIC display!
