WW2 Imperial Japanese Army – TYPE 99 2.5 x 13° MACHINE GUN SCOPE & CASE – NICE!

You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Army 2.5 x 13° Machine Gun Scope & Leather Case! This style was used throughout the war on both the Type 96 and Type 99 Machine Guns.

Made of solid brass, aluminum, and steel, this LMG Optical Scope and Leather Case are in EXCELLENT used condition! It retains approx. 90% of it’s original paint and finish, and all markings are clear and legible. The optics are VERY CLEAR, however there are some slight dust particles and specs. The mounting adjustment knob is 100% functional! The rubber eye cup has deteriorated over time, but that is fairly normal for Japanese optics. Comes complete with the RARE Leather Storage Case, which is almost always missing. Normally, you find these in the later Rubberized Canvas material, and this is the FIRST time, I have seen it in leather! Should Strap is missing, but that could be rectified by the winning bidder. A PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
