You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht Ceramic Award Tankard! As this was a presentation piece it features the initials of the awardee, who was a member of the 7. Komp. Gebirgsjaeger Regt. 100!

Made of ceramic, this presentation stein is one of a kind item! Presented in 1937, it does have some marks, scratches, and wear due to the age, but otherwise quite solid. Featuring a panels depicting a Gebirgsjaeger Troop and Pony on a Mountain Top, with an Edelweiss in the center. The pewter lid attached features a Hallmark, “REIC SPRO”, which is an abbreviation for Reichsstempelprob (Reich Stamp Proof), and the initials of the owner, indicating:
A.N.
The main title on the mug indicates:
ZUR ERINNERUNG A.M. DIENSTZEIT BEI DER 7. KOMP. GEB. JAG. REGT. 100
1935 – 1937
(In Commemoration of My Service with 7. Company Gebirgsjaeger Regiment 100)

Some crazing to the finnish, due to the age, and one slight superficial crack at the bottom, but nothing that detracts. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
