You are bidding on an EXCELLENT and VERY RARE example of WW2 German Wehrmacht Presentation Award Plaque! Usually, these were usually awarded for bravery or other special accomplishments/duties during the war. This specific example was awarded to a member of Panzer Regiment 2.
Made of wood and cast steel alloy, this plaque is in SUPERB condition for it’s age! It features a prominent 3- dimensional image of a Panzer 1 bursting into attack. This is only the SECOND time I have seen this type of plaque, as they usually only feature flat disks with 2-dimensional images. There is some slight wear due to the age, but nothing that take away from the overall appearance. It is inscribed at the bottom:
