WW2 German Wehrmacht – AWARD PRESENTATION CERTIFICATE – Panzer-Abwehr-Abteilung 25 – NAMED – RARE!

You are bidding on an EXCEPTIONAL example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht Presentation Award Certificate! This type of certificate was gifted to members of various units, after they have completed their training or service time period. This specific award is named to Schütze Ernst Kübler, who was a member of Panzer-Abwehr-Abteilung 25 (an Anti-Tank unit based in Kornwestheim). 

Established on October 6, 1936 in Kornwestheim. During mobilization, the 2./MGK 55 was placed under the department’s command as the fourth company. On February 27, 1940, the 2nd Company was swapped with the 2nd Company of Anti-Tank Department 559. On April 1, 1940, the department was renamed Panzerjäger-Abteilung 25. The unit was destroyed in June 1944 as part of Army Group Center.
Reestablished in October 1944 in Grafenwöhr with three companies.

Made of heavy paper, this EXCEPTIONALLY rare item is in EXCELLENT used condition! Features a very dramatic battle scene with an anti-tank unit, as well as a flag and helmeted soldier profiles. Some of the information is pre-printed, however most is hand-written, showing Küblers birthdate; place of birth; training time period; and unit. Some slight marks and wear, but nothing that detracts. Usually, these type of certificates have been folded or feature a lot of wear and creases, however this specific example is near PERFECT, apart from some age and toning. Measuring approx. 12″ x 16″ in size, it would make a SUPERB and VERY INTERESTING item to any collection or display!
