You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht 7×50 / 10×50 Binocular Case & Strap!
German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis. This specific binocular was used by U-Boat crews, ships, and coastal artillery.
Made of Ersatz Leather, this Binocular Case & Strap are in EXCELLENT used condition. Some slight marks and wear throughout, but nothing that detracts. Features some very clear manufacture marks and stamps, along with a production date of 1942. Strap is original to this set, and though worn, is undamaged. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
