Description
You are bidding on an EXCELLENT example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Regler (Electrical Relay Box), Fl. 34245-1, 126-535 A-4! This component was part of the main electrical system, and formed part of the aircraft’s primary onboard electrical network, or Bordnetz. Installed in the Me109, Fw190, Me2652, He162, and others!
The Fl.34245-1 Regler was an electrical regulator/control unit associated with the Luftwaffe Bordnetzüberwachung, or onboard electrical-network monitoring system. Identified as Gerät-Nr. 126-535 B-2 and Baumuster SSM 72/19z, it was manufactured by Robert Bosch GmbH of Stuttgart under the wartime manufacturer code “bjp,” with documented examples dating from approximately 1944. The aircraft electrical network supplied and controlled the numerous electrically operated systems fitted throughout late-war Luftwaffe aircraft, including cockpit instrumentation, communications and radio equipment, armament-related electrical circuits, warning and indication systems, lighting, and other electrically operated aircraft equipment. Period documentation confirms installation of the Fl.34245-1 in the Messerschmitt Me109, making this an important surviving component of the fighter’s late-war electrical system.
Made of aluminum, bakelite, and steel, this original Bosch Fl. 34245-1 Regler is in EXCELLENT used condition! The housing retains approximately 70% of its original wartime finish, with only minor age and storage wear. The original data plate remains fully intact and completely readable, showing only a very small amount of surface corrosion. All original wiring remains attached to the unit, indicating that it was removed complete from an actual aircraft rather than surviving as unused replacement stock. All components, steel fittings, electrical connections, mounting points, and external hardware all remain present and intact. I have NOT opened the unit, however externally it appears 100% COMPLETE with no obvious missing components. It has NOT been electrically tested and is therefore being offered as an original historical aircraft component rather than as a guaranteed serviceable unit. Everything present is 100% ORIGINAL wartime manufacture. A VERY RARE and exceptionally well-preserved example of a late-war Luftwaffe electrical regulator, complete with its original wiring and identification plate, and an outstanding addition to any advanced Me109, Luftwaffe electrical equipment, cockpit, or aircraft restoration collection!
