Description
The DBU Berlin specialized in aircraft fuel regulation, measurement, and pumping equipment for the Luftwaffe, while Siemens produced electric motors for aviation applications. This electrically driven pump incorporates an integrated fuel pressure regulator (“Regler”), as clearly marked on the regulator cap. Assemblies of this type were used on German aircraft fuel-injected engine systems during the Second World War, including installations associated with Daimler-Benz powered aircraft and other Luftwaffe platforms.
Made of aluminum and steel, this item is in VERY NICE used condition! The regulator cap shows damage at the slot, consistent with service or handling use. Untested, as found condition. Overall condition is EXCELLENT for a complex wartime aviation component, with no evidence of modern repairs or postwar modification. Not sure of thee exact aircraft it was used on. PERFECT for any collection or display!
