The Panzer Kasten Nr. 5b was a radio connection intercom box used in various early Tanks and Armoured Vehicles in WW2. It was used for connecting two headphones, allowing the loader and gunner in the turret to be connectef to the intercom (for listening only). Probably for the Panzer III and early Panzer IV. Made of aluminum and steel, this intercom box is in AMAZONG unused condition!! It retains 99% of it’s original paint and finish, and all connections are 100% complete! Alll information/data plates are present, and it is 100% complete internally! There are some very slight marks and wear due to the age. A VERY RARE earrly item, it would be a PERFECT addition to any collection or restoration project!
