You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German NSDAP “Adolf Hitler” Award Plaque! Designed to be mounted on a wall, it features the profile of Adolf Hitler, as well as a quotation.
These award were an officially recognized NSDAP non-portable award. It was produced solely by the Adolf Trumpf company, and it was presented to political and state officials in recognition of special achievement. Unlike most non-portable awards, this one was made so that it could be hung on the wall of an office.
Made by Adolf Trumpf of Copper a plated-Feinzink with a dark antique finish, this is a FANTASTIC example! Complete in the ORIGINAL presentation box, the front depicts the side profile of Adolf Hitler, and features the motto:
“DIE VORAUSSETZUNG ZUR TAT IST DER WILLE UND DER MUT ZUR WAHRHAFTIGKEIT”
(“THE REQUIREMENT FOR ACTION IS THE WILL AND THE COURAGE FOR TRUTH”)
The rear features the maker’s mark at the top, indicating:
