You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE used example of a WW2 German Lufwtaffe Panzerhandlampe, Fl. 56211! These were used on various landing strips, aircraft, armoured vehicles, and tanks!
The Panzerhandlampe was used as a mobile landing strip light for the Luftwaffe and as a mechanics light for repairing planes, armored vehicles, and even tanks. Made of aluminum and steel, this Panzerhandlampe is in EXCELLENT used condition! Retaining 95% original paint, it is 100% complete, and features a hanging hook at the top, along with a glass cover to protect the bulb. Battery-powered, it is marked:
Leistung 25 Ah bei 26 Volt Keine Schwefelsäure einfüllen! Fl. 56211 EPL DOMINIT Werk-Nr. 26565 The lamp head unscrews, to reveal the battery…however the battery has leaked/corroded over time. Could use a good clean internally. Would need a new battery in order to work…but otherwise aa FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
