Description
This gauge is a late war version, produced between 1944 and 1945. Located on the main instrument panel, it measured the current airspeed of the aircraft.
Made of black bakelite, this instrument is in SUPERB used condition! 95% of the original finish remains, and there are no major scratches, dents, or damage to the bakelite! The Fl. label is 950% complete, indicating Fl. 22240. This is the compensating type, that displayed a more accurate velocity at low speeds. One of the NICEST speedometers I have seen of this type! I have indicated similar types in the last photos. Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
