WW2 German Luftwaffe – DAIMLER-BENZ DB605 A-D ENGINE BADGE – Me109 – STUNNING!

You are bidding on a VERY RARE and BEAUTIFUL WW2 German Luftwaffe Mercedes-Benz Engine Badge as ONLY used on the DB601, DB603, and DB605 aircraft engines!   

This badge was located on the front of most Daimler/Mercedes-Benz Engines. 

Made of aluminum, this is EASILY the NICEST one I have ever seen! Most museums that have aircraft equipped with a DB605 on display either have this badge missing, or installed reproductions – this is 100% ORIGINAL. The part number “9-600.260-029.24 is clearly molded into the reverse. Some slight marks and wear throughout, however, the prominent Mercedes-Benz logo still remains on the front! Most of these that turn up have a lot of paint chips (sometime no paint at all) due to the age, however this one retains 99% of the original color and finish! I have indicated it’s location in the last photos.  A one-of-a- kind item, this would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
