You are bidding on a SUPERB example of WW2 German Luftwaffe Wood Horizontal Stabilizer Relic! This SPECIFIC relic came from the wreck of a late-war Me109 G10/U4, that was downed over Germany. I will provide the loss info to the winning bidder.
Made of wood, this items is in EXCELLENT relic condition! There are some slight marks, damage, and burn marks, however it is VERY solid otherwise! This aircraft varied in camouflage colors, including: RLM02, RLM74, RLM75, RLM76, RLM81, RLM83. This relic, being a LOWER section consists of the VERY RARE late-war RLM76! Unlike the standard grey/blue RLM76, this 1944/45 variant had more of a white/blue hue (note that it is not as “white” as the listing photos suggest). Most of the paint is SUPERB with NO color loss! This represents the LAST of the relics I have from the wreck site. Approx. 12″ x 16″ in size, it would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display!
