WW2 German Luftwaffe Aircraft Staurohr – PITOT TUBE – Me109 Me110 – VERY NICE!

This 24V, 30W instrument was located on the bottom surface of the wing and measured the true airspeed, sending a signal to the main instrument panel. The Speedometer then indicated to the pilot the current velocity.

Made of brass, this piece is in EXCELLENT used condition! There are no breaks or damage, and still retains its original wiring and plug! The ink stamp has faded over time, however, it normally would have indicated, “Staurohr Fl. 22260”. Some normal marks, wear, and scratche due to the age, but otherwise a BEAUTIFUL example. A FANTASTIC addition to any aircraft collection, display, or restoration project!
