WW2 German Luftwaffe Aircraft Gelenköse – SEAT BELT FITTINGS – Me109 Fw190 Ju87

You are bidding on a VERY RARE original pair of WW2 German Luftwaffe Messerschmitt Me109 Gelenköse (Seat Belt Attachment Fittings), Fl. 30219! These fittings formed part of the pilot seat assembly and provided the attachment points for the aircraft’s safety-belt system. Used in multiple aircraft types including the Fw190, Me262, Ku87, Ju88, Me110, and others!

The Me109 pilot’s seat was mounted within the cockpit on a dedicated support and adjustment system that allowed it to be securely retained while still permitting the positioning required for the pilot. As illustrated in the original Messerschmitt Me109 Ersatzteil-Liste, the complete pilot seat is identified as “Sitz vollständig,” part number 109.102-010. The two articulated belt fittings are shown as item 27 and specifically identified as “Gelenköse,” Luftwaffe part number Fl 30219. Mounted directly to each side of the seat, these fittings provided the attachment points between the pilot’s safety belt and the seat structure, allowing the belt assembly to articulate with the pilot while remaining securely anchored to the seat.

Made of aircraft-grade aluminum, this matching pair of original Me109 Gelenköse fittings is in VERY GOOD used condition. Some slight marks, wear, and scratches from use, however they still retain MUCH of the original RLM66 cockpit paint! Both retain their complete articulated construction and are the correct Fl 30219 fittings illustrated directly in the Me109 parts manual. I have shown their location in the last photos. ORIGINAL loose examples of these seat fittings are extremely difficult to locate, particularly as a matching pair, and would make a FANTASTIC addition to any Me109 seat restoration, cockpit project, or advanced Luftwaffe aviation collection!
