You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Antennenanpaßungsgerät 16 (AAG16 H Handbediend) Ln. 27196 Radio Antenna Unit Relic, as used in conjunction with the FuG16 Radio System!  This was installed where the FuG16 would be hand tuned to different frequencies and where the AAG could be fitted in reach of the Radio Operator.  Used in various bombers, including the Dornier Do217 N-1 Night Fighter!




The AAG16 H connected directly to the SE16 radio Sending Unit. Both were part of the main FuG16 Radio System, which allowed for air-to-air communication, as well as air-to-ground. 

Made of aluminum, steel, and bakelite, this mid-war AAG16 H relic is in EXCELLENT used condition! THough it is misisng the internal components, there is no major damage. The cover has been re-painted at one time. Some slight marks and dents due to the age, but otherwise PERFECT! I have indicated it’s location in the last photos. A VERY RARE and FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
