You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Kriegsmarine C39b Küstenartillerie Sprechgarnitur (Coastal Artillery Communication Headset) and Transport Box!
The Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery C39b Headset was used in various field application, so as in Bunkers; Artillery Positions; and Communication Telephones. It also has a fitting that allows the user to attached a cable to a Gas Mask, allowing the user to speak while wearing.
Made of aluminum, rubber, steel, and bakelite, this Coast Artillery Communication Headset is in EXCELLENT New Old Stock condition! Though it remains UNUSED, with the rubber cable still tied in the original factory string, there are some marks, scratched, and wear from storage. It is 100% COMPLETE with all data plates, and all straps and fitting are fully adjustable! All the original wiring and plug also remain (the plug is usually missing form these. The steel transport box is ORIGINAL to this set, and has been confirmed by other collectors that it is correct for this type. I have shown this EXACT headset in use in the last images. EASILY the NICEST one I have ever seen of this type, it would make a FANTASTIC item for any collection or display!
