This is a SUPERB and VERY RARE example of a 100% INERT WW2 German Kriegsmaine 3.7cm FlaK Steel Shell, as by Germany’s famous Sk C/30 Anti-Aircraft Gun!
The 3.7 cm Flak SK C/30 (37mm x 380mm) was the Kriegsmarine version of the FlaK 18 anti-aircraft cannon produced by Nazi Germany that saw widespread service in the Second World War. The cannon was fully automatic and effective against aircraft flying at altitudes up to 4,200 m. It was usually mounted on various submarines, destroyers, and cruisers!
Made of solid steel, this is a FANTASTIC piece of history! Completely inert, there are some slight wear, marks, and pitting, however it remains VERY SOLID with traces of the original brass finish! Some stamps and markings, but they are faint. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
