Description
In the original WWII design, the HBT trousers had the pockets positioned at or just below the waistband. This how they were made until the April 1944 contract, when the QMC changed the specs and lowered them several inches. Few if any of those trousers would have made it to Europe in time for June 6th. So, ATF trousers have the higher D-day pockets.
Made of water resistant cotton, these M1943 Dark Shade HBT Trousers are in EXCELLENT used condition. I acquired these last month from At The Front for a film I was working on, titled, “Breakthrough” and worn them twice. Some marks and wear throughout, but nothing that detracts. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
