WW II Imperial Japanese Army Mosquito Proof Gloves / Mittens #2 – SUPERB!

The Japanese Army Mittens and Gloves extended above the wearer’s wrist and protected the hand from exposure to the elements.  They were issued for both summer and winter use.  The main difference with the winter glove was the addition of animal fur for extra warmth.  Furs used were rabbit, goat, sheep, and horse.  Manufactured in a few different colors, including light beige, medium brown, and dark brown.  Designed for tropical climates, Mosquito Mittens were made of a thin canvas material, which was mosquito-proof. 

Made of a light cotton/canvas construction, these gloves are in SUPERB unused condition.  All the original coloring remains, and there is no damage or tears!  No wear or marks.  Features the original manufacture ink stamp internally.  Most likely produced around 1944, they are a small/medium size, and 100% matching set.  A PERFECT for any collection or display!
