You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Kriegsmarine W.S. Type 14/1 Navigational Compass & Directional Sight! This was used in all U-Boats, Battleships, Destroyers, Cruisers, Torpedo Boats, and other vessels! Made of wood, aluminum, and plastic, and dating around 1944, this is an AMAZING used example. Though there are some scratches and wear from use and age, it retains 95% of it’s original finish! It is 100% complete and functional, and comes complete in the original box (some internal wood pieces are missing)! The paint is also luminescent for night use navigation. Features a Navy acceptance stamp as well as the model type stamped into the top. Would make an EXCELLENT addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!
