Description
As of 1941, soldiers also were issued the Hautentgiftungssalbe as a replacement for the Losantin Tablets (although Losantin was issued until the end of the war). This skin decontamination ointment came in orange plastic bottles which were packed in a plasticised carton box). The carton box also contained 6 cotton swabs to apply the ointment. As with the Losantin boxes, this item was to be carried in the breast pocket of the uniform. This Decontamination Container and Ointment is in AMAZING unused condition! Though the ointment is long dried-up, there are NO marks, dents, or damage, and still retains all the original contents! There is an ink stamp on the top that while a bit faded, clearly indicates: entgiftungssalbe Gebrauchsanweisung auf den Innenbehälter beachten” Though not shown in the photos, the bottle is dated 1943, with the manufacture code on the bottom. VERY RARE to find complete, it would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display! Please email me if you need additional photos or information. |
