Description
You are bidding on a FANTASTIC example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht 8-day Stationsuhr Duty Clock! These were used in Radio Command Vehicles and Communication stations!
Made of wood and stamped steel, this clock was manufactured in 1940. It is a SUPERB example, and EASILY one of the best ones I have ever seen of its type! Obtained directly from Dr. Konrad Knirim, this EXACT clock is featured on page 410 of his book, titled, “Military Timepieces”. There are some slight scratches and marks due to the age, but nothing that detracts. A RARE maker, it is stamped “Kohler & Co.”. Features a NICE Waffenamt on the side as well as an impressed date of 1940. Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
