You are bidding on a FANTASTIC used example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy Seikosha Stopwatch and Clock Model 1 “Otu”, as ONLY used by Submarines and Torpedo Boats!
Usually worn around the neck by flight personnel responsible for Navigation, Flight Coordination and Attack Coordination (torpedo and bombing runs), this Seikosha Pocket Watch is in EXCELLENT functioning condition! It features a 12/24 hour display with 30 second timer, and runs for approx. 36 hours. Made by Seikosha, it features 15 jewels, a Bi-metal movement with Breguet spiral, and a nickel/chrome-plated housing. Normally, a chain or strap made of parachute cord allowed the watch to be worn around the neck. The kanji on the back of the case indicates:
Second Timer Type 1 Class 2
Water (Indicating use in a Submarine or Torpedo Boat) No. 667
Manufactured between 1939 and 1945, the internal lids also features some stamps and markings. Some scratches and marks due to the age, but otherwise SUPERB! It is 100% functional, but I would recommend having it cleaned and lubricated. Like most Japanese items, it is a VERY RARE item, perfect for any collection, or display!
Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
