Description
This instrument measured the altitude of the aircraft using the surrounding air pressure. It was located on the main instrument panel of many early and late-war German aircraft.
Made of dark black bakelite, this is an AMAZING example, dating earlier in the war. The FL. number is clearly marked on the face, indicating Fl. 22320, as well as an early aluminum data plate at the reverse. There are some light marks and scratches, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance. Not not sure if airworthy. I have indicated it’s location in the last photos. A PERFECT item for any collection, display, or restoration project!
