Description


You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 0-1 km Fein-Groshohenmesser (Fine Altimeter), Fl. 22306, as used in the Ju52, DFS230, Go145, Me110, and others!

 

This instrument measured the altitude of the aircraft using the surrounding air pressure.  It was located on the main instrument panel of many early-mid-war German aircraft.

 

Made of black bakelite, this is a VERY NICE example.  The Fl. label is 100% complete, clearly indicating all information (manufacture, werk. number, etc.), and Fl. 22306 is clearly legible on the face.  There are some minor scratches, marks, and wear, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance.  I have shown its location in the last photos.  100% functional, it would make a PERFECT example for any collection or display!
