You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE example of a 100% original WW2 German Luftwaffe Gashebel (Throttle Lever), 8-88.7202-0126 as used ONLY in the LATE Ju188 / Ju388 Series Bomber and Night Fighter Aircraft! This was recovered from an aircraft at war’s end, and brought back by a US Serviceman.
This throttle handle was mounted on the main throttle assembly (Gashebel) on the port side of the cockpit.
Made of aluminum and bakelite, this late-style throttle lever was manufactured between 1943 and 1945. It has some marks, scratches, and wear, but is EASILY identifiable and VERY solid! It still retains traces of its original paint, as features a Junkers part number on the top, indicating, 8-88.7202-0126. I was told it came from a Ju88 Night Fighter, but as the knobs were made larger in the later models (and the the “88” prefix remained on many parts), I am fairly sure this is from a Ju188 or Ju388 (see last photos). An EXTREMELY RARE item, it would make SUPERB item for any collection, display, or restoration project!

——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
