WW II German Air Force Panzerglas – PILOT ARMOR GLASS – Me109 G /K – VERY RARE!

You are bidding on an AMAZING example of a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe Me109 Panzersheibe (Armour Glass), 109.117-001007, as only used only in the Me109 G-1 thru K-4 aircraft! 

 Comprising of 5 layers of glass with an overall thickness of 2.5″, and mounted directly in front of the pilot to protect him from any bullets or flak, this Me109 Armour Glass need no introduction. Due to the condition, it appears to be New Old Stock, and remains in SUPERB used condition!  EASILY the best one I have seen of it’s type in my years of collecting!  It is VERY CLEAR, but does feature some scratches, as well as some sight de-lamination, which is quite normal due to the age.  The steel frame is still 100% INTACT, and retains approx. 50% of it;s original paint and finish!  Measuring approx. 8″ x 13″, it gives a IMPRESSION as to the size of this tiny fighter.  I have indicated it’s location in the last photo.  Weighing approx. 14 lbs., it would make an EXCELLENT addition to any collection or display
