Description
In 1940, the German military developed topical uniforms, consisting of pants, tunics, boots, and various other equipment. The tropical footwear consisted of a both a lace-up tall boot, and lace-up low ankle boot/shoe Both were made of a khaki/olive canvas and brown leather. Though similar to the Army-issue items, the Luftwaffe had their own versions of the tropical equipment, which were developed independently from other branches of service. Made of green canvas and light brown leather, this pair of Luftwaffe Tropical Tall Boots is in VERY NICE used condition! Combat worn, there are some marks and wear due to the age, but nothing that detracts. They feature the original wartime laces, but are missing some hobnobs on the bottom. Soles are also original. This is a matching set with size and manufacture markings stamped on the inside of each. A TEXTBOOK set, this would make for a SUPERB addition to any collection or display! |
