You are bidding on an EXCELLENT example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 2-polig Brechkupplung (2 Pole Plug Connection) Plug, Ln. 27189, as used in conjunction with the FuG16ZY Radio! This was used in all fighter and bomber aircraft including the Me109, Fw190, Me262, Ju88, Me-110, Ju-87 and others!
This remote plug was part of the main FuG16ZY Radio System, which allowed for air-to-air communication, as well as air-to-ground. This plug connected the FA16 remote unit.
Made of bakelite and aluminum, this Plug and Wiring is in EXCELLENT used condition. Some very minor scratches due to the age, but nothing that take away from the overall appearance. The Fl. number is easy to read on the plug, and the wiring is 100% intact! I have shown where it connects to in the last photo. A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
