You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 USAAF / US Navy Aircraft DJ-4 Cowl Flap Position indicator! This was used in the Consolidated PB2Y Coronado, and other aircraft!
Made of aluminum, steel, and glass, and dating around 1942, this is an AMAZING NOS example. Though there are some light scratches and wear from storage, it retains 98% of it’s original finish! The data plate is 100% intact, and clearly indicates the model and type. This can be seen in the 1942 PB2Y Flight Manual. Not sure what other aircraft it could have been used in. Would make an EXCELLENT addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!
