You are bidding on a SUPERB unused example of a 100% original WW2 USAAF / Navy Bomb Selector Control Box / Intervalometer!  Used in conjunction with the Norden Bombsight, it was installed in the B-17, B-25, B-24, B-29, and other various bombers throughout the war.

The B-2A Control features dials which allow the bombardier to set the number of bombs released (between zero and fifty), and the interval between each bomb (seven to 750 feet). It is fitted it with a toggle switch with two settings: “Sel.”, which allows the settings to be adjusted, and “Train” which allows the bombs to be dropped at the selected intervals based on input from the bomb sight.

Made of aluminum and steel by J.P. Seeburg Corp, this US Aircraft Bomb Release Control Box is in EXCELLENT UNUSED condition!  Some marks and scratches throughout due to the age, but nothing that detracts.  Retains 98% original paint and finish, and is 100% mechanically functional!  All markings are intact, including the data plate”.  Used in most aircraft types equipped with the Norden Bomb sight.  I have shown its location in the last photos.  Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
