WW2 US Army Navy Marines – FIRST AID KIT CARLISLE BANDAGE – UNUSED – NICE!

You are bidding on a SUPERB and 100% ORIGINAL WW2 US Military First Aid Kit Carlisle Bandage! This was used by the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines.

In 1941, the Medical Department issued all Carlisle Bandage Containers to be made out of tin (instead of brass). The new version was introduced by fall of 1941, together with the very first Sulfanilamide Shaker Envelopes. In order to identify those containers which now contained sulfanilamide, the U.S. Government began to imprint many of the First-Aid Packet tins on the reverse with the caption “With Sulfanilamide“. Various styles of this imprinting can be found. One was issued to each soldier, and were worn on the right side of the webbing set.

Made of Brass/Copper, this UNOPENED and EARLY variant of Carlisle Bandage is in EXCELLENT unused condition! Clearly identifiable, it does features some marks, wear, and staining, due to storage. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
