The SCR 269 system was a radio homing system installed in US Army Air Corps/Force and US Navy aircraft such as the heavy bomber B-24 Liberator, B-17 Flying Fortress, B-29 Superfortress, medium bombers such as B-25 and B-26, and transport aircraft. The SCR 269 typically consisted of the following components:

Made of brass, aluminum, and steel with a black crackle-paint finish, this BC-434A Radio Control Box is in is in AMAZING unused condition! Dated March 1945, it is 100% COMPLETE, apart from the rear cover. Still retains 99% of its original paint and finish, with NO damage or corrosion! 100% mechanically functional, however, I have not rested it electrically, so I am selling as-is. Some slight marks and wear, due to the age, but nothing that detracts. I have shown its location in the last images. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
