Description
Produced for the German Navy, these stop watches were used for the measurement of torpedo running times and depth charge detonation. Early in WW2, The Japanese acquired timers and stop watches from various Swiss and German producers, as the movements were far superior to their own. As the war progressed, Seikosha became the main producer, as the German and Swiss movements were difficult to obtain.
Made of brass with a nickel/chrome plating, this Swiss-made Torpedo Timer Stop Watch is in EXCELLENT functioning condition!
