Description
This testing unit indicated the current amperes of the aircraft or vehicle radio electrical system.
Made of brass, steel, plastic, and aluminum, this item is of mid-war manufacture. Dated September 1942, it was brought back by a US Serviceman. As it is in used condition, it does feature various marks, scratches, and wear…however 98% of the original Japanese Navy Green Paint remains! Data plate at the top indicates, “High Voltage Gauge“. Captured by US Navy Intelligence for testing and evaluation, it features an, “EEIS” (Enemy Equipment Intelligence Service) number hand-painted on to the side of the casing. I have not tested it for functionality, so I am selling this set as-is. Lots of Japanese writing and markings, including the Navy Anchor! Would make a VERY NICE addition to any Japanese Instrument Collection!
