Description
Made of brass, steel, plastic, and aluminum, this item is of mid-war manufacture. Dated December 1942, it was brought back by a US Serviceman. Absolutely MASSIVE in size, compared to other Voltmeters, it has a diameter of over 5″, which is about the same size as a Japanese Bulkhead Clock. As it is in used condition, it does feature various marks, scratches, and wear. I have not tested it for functionality, so I am selling this set as-is. Lots of Japanese writing and markings, including the Navy Anchor! Removed from a ship or submarine by US Navy Intelligence for testing and evaluation, it features an, “EEIS” (Enemy Equipment Intelligence Service) number hand-painted on to the side of the casing. I have shown nearly identical instruments installed on the engine electrical panel of the Midget Submarine in the last image. Would make a VERY NICE addition to any Japanese Instrument Collection!
