Description
This testing unit indicated the current amperes of the aircraft or vehicle radio electrical system. It was also installed on the main electrical panel of the Midget Submarine (same type that invaded Pearl Harbor).
Made of brass, steel, plastic, and aluminum, this item is of mid-war manufacture. Dated February 1942, it was brought back by a US Serviceman. As it is in used condition, it does feature various marks, scratches, and wear. Also includes a VERY RARE capacitor at the reverse! I have not tested it for functionality, so I am selling this set as-is. Lots of Japanese writing and markings, including the Navy Anchor! I have shown this exact instrument installed on the engine electrical panel of the Midget Submarine in the last image. Would make a VERY NICE addition to any Japanese Instrument Collection!
