WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy – " BIG EYE " 20×120 SHIPBOARD BINOCULARS – VERY RARE

Out of stock

You are bidding on an AMAZING set of WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy 20 x 3 Degree (20×120) Battleship Binoculars!  This “Big Eye” style was specifically used on late-war battleships, destroyers, cruisers and other surface vessels!  These were brought back by a US veteran who served in the Pacific.

Made of a solid brass, aluminum, and steel by TOKO, this set of binoculars is in EXCELLENT used condition!  Manufactured around 1944/1945, they retain 95% of their original paint, and all optics are VERY CLEAR, with almost NO spotting!  Optical alignment is also perfect!  Features a gradient scale in the right eye piece (though to get a photo of, but you can see it in the last photos).  The left side features a prominent stamp indicating; “20×3”; the manufacture name; and serial number “897”.  Some paint chips and marks as you can see in the photos…as well as some scratches and small dents.  The 120mm front objectives are slightly recessed, and both focus adjustment (though quite stiff) function perfectly!  Comese complete with the tripod mount (these are usually missing).  Due to the large weight and size, I have had to estimate the shipping costs.  I will provide a more accurate cost to the winning bidder (dependent on shipping location).  It would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
