You are bidding on a STUNNING and EXTRAORDINARILY RARE example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy 15×80 / 20×120 Binocular Tripod Mount!
Made of a brass, aluminum, and steel, this binocular tripod mount is in AMAZING used condition! Manufactured late in the war, there are some slight marks and wear, due to the age, but nothing that detracts! Retains 90% original paint and finish, and comes complete with the original mounting screws! The tightening arm is missing from the knob, but that could be remade, if one wished. Completely functional, these are almost ALWAYS missing, as veterans typically removed them. This came off a Nikko 20×120 that I have in my collection, but it should also fit on the 15×80. A VERY RARE item, it is PERFECT for any collection or display!
