You are bidding on a SUPERB example of WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy / Army Pilot Flight Jacket Shoulder Patch! This was stitched onto both the full length Flight Suits, as well as the separate Jacket / Pants combination.
Manufactured in lightweight cotton, this is a VERY RARE Shoulder Patch, not commonly seen on the market (though there are a few companies that make reproductions). No damage or holes, however, there are some small marks and wear due to the age. The “meatball” is stitched on separately, with vibrant color throughout! I have shown the location of this exact type of shoulder patch in the last image. A PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
