Numerous measurements of air pressure are used within surface weather analysis to help find surface troughs, high pressure systems and frontal boundaries.Made of brass, aluminum, and steel, this piece is of late-war manufacture. Though it has some marks, scratches, and wear due to the age, it still retains 95% of its original finish! All data information is printed on the dial, and data plate, indicating type & manufacture, date (May 1944), and production number. It is mechanically functional, however it will most likely need to be calibrated/adjusted for accuracy. Brought back by a US Veteran,
