Description
This instrument measured the current airspeed by the use of air pressure. It was located on the main instrument panel of the Mitsubishi A6M Zero, Mitsubishi J2M1, and others!
Made of brass and steel, this instrument is in GOOD used condition! Brought back by a US Serviceman during the war, it still retains MUCH of its original finish, with NO major marks or scratches! Sadly, as it was pulled from a wreck, the glass is missing, however I will include a replacement for the winning bidder. It features an EARLY brass data plate, clearly stating the model, manufacture, production number. Has a NICE early 1940 date! Some of the iridescent paint is missing, but the dial still glows when UV light is applied. I have indicated its location in the last photos.
