WW2 Imperial Japanese Army – WINTER LEATHER & FUR PILOT FLIGHT HELMET – NICE!

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Winter Flight Helmet! This was used by various Japanese Pilots and Crew Members during cold weather and winter seasons.

Made of a light brown leather and faux fur, this helmet is in EXCELLENT unused condition! It is constructed of multiple separate pieces of brown leather, with a prominent 5-pointed Japanese Army Star at the front. The ear cups are complete, and made of hardened leather, each having 30mm holes in the center for mounted the communication equipment/receivers. All straps are fully functional, and all the buckles and tabs work perfectly. Some wear from storage, but nothing that detracts. The felt ear pads are also original to this set. I have seen these a few time previously, thinking they were postwar additions, but it appears they were all originally issued with those. Marked as a size “Medium” in Kanji (around a 58 or so). Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
