You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Army 2.5 x 13° Machine Gun Scope! This style was used throughout the war on both the Type 96 and Type 99 Machine Guns.
Made of solid brass, aluminum, and steel, this LMG Optical Scope is in EXCELLENT used condition! It retains approx. 95% of its original paint and finish, and all markings are clear and legible. The optics are VERY CLEAR, with only minor dust particles and specs. The mounting adjustment knob is 100% functional! The rubber eyecup has deteriorated over time, but that is fairly normal for Japanese optics. A PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
