Description
There are three types of Japanese field telephones, known to exist. The standard telephone was the Type 92. This is a beautiful piece of workmanship, with a wooden case with brushed aluminum fittings…and either a leather or rubberized canvas case.
Made of leather, this field phone case is in VERY NICE used condition! Some slight marks, scratches, and wear, however it is 100% COMPLETE, including the grounding tool. The AMAZING feature is that it is still VERY soft and flexible (usually, these have hardened over time)! Some slight fraying / splitting in the corner (see photos), but it does not detract. Comes complete with the original shoulder strap, which is almost ALWAYS missing! Features some faint Kanji markings on the inside of the cover. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
